Went to see the early show and loved it. It is by far the best film of the year so far. Theater was about 70% full and I think I was the youngest one there by 35 years (I'm 27). The crowd really ate the movie up and I'm predicting good word of mouth on this film. I didn't expect that big of a turn out. If crowds like this one are turning out all over the US, this movie will go sailing over 20 million. But who the hell knows, I could be the only person in the world who likes it and I caught a field trip from the local nursing home.

Yeah, I'm starting to worry about the under play that I made. They have been hyping thismovie a lot, it's even getting moreattention that Tomb Raider in some ways.. I just didn't think the public would buy into the hype, but I might have ben wrong.. 70 percent full for an afternoon show is pretty damn good for a movie of this type.

Let's not get carried away, Oren. Let's see how this does. Fundamentally, we handicapped the film in the correct way. The correct play here, I feel, is on the under.

"Seabiscut - first two shows ~50% full. This is very strong showing for a Friday afternoon, but the crowd skews old

SPYD3 - first show was basically sold out and the second show was about 50% full. We have already outgrossed the first two days of Spy Kids 2. Again, this is very strong for a Friday afternoon.

TOMB2 - first show ~40% full, second show was less than 20%. Basically the reverse pattern of the first movie but a little slower. I don't have any indication of how it will do tonight.

PIRAT continues to hold strong in spite of the new openers. Still on one of our two biggest screens and the second show was about 1/3 full.

How to Deal and English are dead. LXG is ok, but nothing to write home about. No comment on BADB2.

Hey Oren,

Intertops has a Seabiscuit odd/even prop up. Since I won the last one I'll let you go first. What ever you choose, I'll bet the opposite.

Like i said, I'm taking my weekend slot machine money and betting it on the odd/even prop Itops has for the box office. I've done pretty good so far too... I'm up a $100 big ones.

I'm not ****ing around with those anymore, bud, I've got no luck with 'em as you can tell, it will probably end up being odd again, but I'd have to take odd since it's been even the last three times...
